How I can Help...
Individual Treatments
I have had experience in the past of helping horses with the following symptoms:
- Correct alignment of the pelvis - to reduce SI joint pain and hindleg lameness
- Rotation of the thorax - often helps with girthing issues and foreleg lameness
- Correct alignment of the neck vertebrae - to reduce neck pain and stiffness - often helps with bending on a circle
- Joint stiffness and pain - hip, stifle, hock, fetlock and pastern, shoulder, elbow, carpal joint and hoof
- Back pain - unless caused by a badly fitting saddle!
- Myofascial release - to help with restricted movement and tension
- Trauma release, stress and nervousness
- Injuries, accidents and falls
- Scars
- Breathing difficulties and asthmatic symptoms
- Digestive and metabolic problems

Workshops
I offer one- or two-day workshops for Equine BodyHelp for up to 8 people at your own stable where you can learn some basic techniques that will allow you to help keep your horse balanced and comfortable. Experience with horses is a strict requirement for any participants, but no other therapeutic experience is necessary. You will be given a full detailed script with colour photos with easy to follow instructions that you can use in the stable after the course.
I offer four one-day workshops, two of which can be combined to fill a weekend. You'll find further details below this box.
- The Equine Pelvis
- Thorax Rotation
- Spine and Neck
- Upper Neck and Jaw
I am willing to travel to you to offer a workshop, demonstration, presentation or talk. Please get in touch by completing the "Contact Me!" form at the bottom of this page (under the Book a Session form) if you should be interested.
If you are interested in organising a workshop you must provide or arrange for at least one horse for every two people to practice with and at least one horse for demonstration purposes. Anybody willing to organise a workshop will be able to take part for free.
1 or 2-day course at your stable (date to be agreed): £150 p.P per day (min. 3 participants not including yourself)
Workshop 1 - The Equine Pelvis
Learn to treat a misaligned pelvis, therefore helping your horse to move straight and in balance. Includes the anatomy of the pelvis and surrounding structures; treatment of the ilium, ilio-sacral joints, ischia, sacrum, lumbosacral joint, the iliopsoas muscle and the pelvic floor following the principles of the orthobionomy.
Helps with SI joint issues, back pain, and hind leg lameness, as well as issues with the poll, the head and the jaw. Learn why in the workshop!
Workshop 2 - Thorax Rotation
Learn to treat a rotated thorax, which often occurs in combination with a misaligned pelvis and can be caused by mounting without a block. Maybe you notice that your horse bends better to one side than the other. This is often caused by a misaligned pelvis together with a rotated thorax, the result then often being back pain due to the twisted vertebrae in between and possible lameness.
Includes the anatomy of the thorax (rib cage) and lower neck vertebrae; global treatment of the thorax, the shoulder blades, the first rib and the lower neck vertebrae following the principles of the orthobionomy. Helps with foreleg lameness, neck pain and breathing issues.
Workshop 3 - Spine and Neck
Learn to treat the individual vertebrae of the spine as well as those of the neck thus releasing tension and pain in the back and neck of your horse. Includes 3-dimensional anatomy of the back and the neck vertebrae.
A prerequisite for this course is courses 1 and 2!
Workshop 4 - Upper Neck and Jaw
Learn to release tension and pain in this all important region thus helping with contact issues, headaches and jaw misalignments.
Includes 3-dimensional anatomy of the upper neck vertebrae, the head and the jaw.
A prerequisite for this course is courses 1, 2 and 3!
